Privacy Policy

The Platform is a productivity and documentation tool. It is designed to reduce manual data entry workload and provide a structured front-end portal for schedule construction. It is not a substitute for professional engineering judgement, compliance verification, or the independent review of technical data. All Outputs are drafts that require User verification prior to use in any professional, contractual, or regulatory context.

AI Processing is inherently probabilistic. The Platform does not guarantee that data extracted from Source Documents — including values, parameters, model numbers, capacities, or classifications — will be accurately or completely reflected in Outputs. Errors, omissions, misinterpretations, and hallucinations are possible. The User is solely responsible for the review and verification of all data prior to any use.

Pascal is a software-based large language model (LLM) agent. Pascal is not a mechanical engineer, building services engineer, electrical engineer, hydraulic engineer, refrigeration technician, or any other registered or licensed professional. Pascal holds no professional registration, qualification, accreditation, or membership with any professional body, including Engineers Australia, the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH), or any state or territory licensing authority.

Pascal Responses do not constitute engineering advice, professional opinion, design certification, compliance certification, or any form of professional services. Nothing communicated by Pascal should be interpreted or relied upon as a substitute for advice from a Qualified Engineer or other appropriately licensed professional.

Pascal is not trained on, certified against, or validated in accordance with any Australian Standard, including but not limited to AS 1668.1 (mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning), AS 1668.2 (natural ventilation and mechanical exhaust), AS 4254.1 and AS 4254.2 (ductwork for air-handling systems), AS/NZS 3000 (wiring rules), or any product-specific technical standard or manufacturer data. Pascal's responses regarding such standards are generated probabilistically from general language model training data and may be incomplete, outdated, misapplied, or incorrect. Pascal is likewise not certified against or validated in accordance with the National Construction Code, including NCC Section J (energy efficiency), notwithstanding that Redworx may reference NCC Material as permitted under Section 03B.

Users must not rely on Pascal Responses as an accurate or authoritative interpretation of any Australian Standard, regulatory requirement, manufacturer specification, or building code provision. All such interpretations must be independently verified against the current published version of the relevant standard or document, obtained directly from Standards Australia, the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB), the relevant manufacturer, or a Qualified Engineer.

Section 03B governs all references to Australian Standards, AIRAH publications, and the NCC, and sets out in full what the Platform does and does not hold, what Pascal is and is not trained on, and the verification obligations you accept. Read it before relying on any standards reference.

For all matters relating to compliance, design, selection, sizing, or installation of HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration, or building services equipment, Users must consult primary authoritative sources, including:

• —Current editions of Australian Standards published by Standards Australia (standards.org.au), including AS 1668, AS 4254, AS 1345, AS/NZS 1554, and all applicable referenced standards;
• —The National Construction Code (NCC) and Section J energy efficiency provisions as published by the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) at abcb.gov.au;
• —State and territory building regulations and licensing requirements, including those administered by the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) and equivalent bodies in other jurisdictions;
• —AIRAH (Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating) technical guidelines, DA series documents, and the AIRAH Handbook;
• —Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) technical data sheets, installation manuals, and selection software specific to the equipment being scheduled;
• —A Qualified Engineer registered and competent in the relevant discipline for the specific project, jurisdiction, and application.

Pascal may assist in directing you to the appropriate source or standard by name, but it cannot replace the content of those documents or the judgement of a Qualified Engineer in applying them.

Pascal Responses are generated by a large language model and are inherently probabilistic. They reflect statistical patterns in training data, not verified factual knowledge. Pascal may produce responses that are plausible in language but factually incorrect, outdated, inapplicable to the specific project context, or inconsistent with current Australian Standards or regulatory requirements. This is a known characteristic of LLM-based systems and is not a defect unique to Pascal.

Pascal Responses must be treated as unverified draft suggestions only. No Pascal Response should be entered into a Schedule, issued as part of a project document, used to make a procurement decision, or otherwise acted upon without independent verification by the User and, where appropriate, a Qualified Engineer.

You must not use Pascal for, and Redworx expressly disclaims all liability arising from, any of the following uses of Pascal Responses:

• —Determining or confirming compliance of any system, product, or installation with any Australian Standard, NCC provision, or regulatory requirement;
• —Selecting, specifying, or sizing HVAC or mechanical equipment for a specific project without independent verification against OEM data and applicable standards;
• —Interpreting or applying AS 1668.1, AS 1668.2, AS 4254, NCC Section J, or any other standard in a design or compliance context;
• —Making decisions that affect the health, safety, or welfare of building occupants or workers;
• —Replacing the review, certification, or sign-off of a Qualified Engineer on any design or documentation;
• —Any application where an incorrect response could result in property damage, personal injury, financial loss, regulatory non-compliance, or contractual breach.

All queries submitted to Pascal and all Pascal Responses are processed and stored by Redworx. Pascal interaction data is User Data within the meaning of Section 8 and is subject to the same data ownership and licence terms. Pascal interaction logs may be used by Redworx to improve the Platform, retrain or fine-tune AI models, and develop product features. Redworx does not guarantee the confidentiality of information disclosed to Pascal in the course of a query. Users should not submit sensitive personal data, confidential client information, or legally privileged material to Pascal.

Redworx expressly excludes, to the maximum extent permitted by law, all liability for any loss, damage, cost, claim, or expense — including professional liability, project delays, rework, regulatory penalty, or consequential loss — arising directly or indirectly from reliance on any Pascal Response. This exclusion applies regardless of whether such reliance occurred with or without the User's independent verification, and regardless of whether the Pascal Response appeared plausible, confident, or consistent with the User's existing knowledge. The limitations of liability in Section 5 apply in full to Pascal and Pascal Responses.

Redworx is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, accredited by, licensed by, or in any partnership, agency, or distribution relationship with Standards Australia, the Australian Building Codes Board, AIRAH, Engineers Australia, or any other Standards Body. Redworx is not a reseller or authorised distributor of any standard.

Where the names, designations, or acronyms of Standards Bodies or their publications appear in the Platform, they appear solely to identify the source document a User must obtain and consult. Such use is nominative and descriptive only. All trade marks, registered marks, and copyright in those documents remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. No statement in the Platform should be read as suggesting that any Standards Body has reviewed, approved, verified, or endorsed the Platform, Pascal, or any Output.

The Platform does not reproduce, republish, host, mirror, cache, store, index, embed, distribute, summarise in substitution for, or otherwise make available the Standards Content of any Australian Standard or AIRAH DA or handbook publication.

Where the Platform or Pascal refers to such a document, it does so exclusively by means of Citation Metadata — the designation, clause or table number, published title, and edition or year, together with Redworx's own original plain-language description of the subject matter the clause addresses. Redworx's catalogue is built and maintained on this basis by design, so that it operates as an index and navigational aid pointing Users toward the correct source document, and not as a means of accessing, substituting for, or avoiding the purchase of the copyright work itself.

For these documents, nothing in the Platform is a substitute for the source. A citation tells you where to look. It does not tell you what the standard says, what it requires, or whether it applies to your project. Only the current published document, read in full and in context, can do that.

The NCC is published by the Australian Building Codes Board and is made available to the public at no cost. Accordingly, the Platform and Pascal may quote, restate, paraphrase, summarise, or reproduce NCC Material, including the text of clauses, tables, and figures, where doing so assists a User to locate or understand a provision. Redworx makes no claim of ownership over NCC Material, which remains the copyright of its owners, and reproduces it subject to the terms on which the ABCB makes it available.

The freedom to reproduce NCC Material is a matter of copyright alone and confers no accuracy, currency, or completeness whatsoever. Any NCC text surfaced by the Platform or by Pascal may be drawn from a superseded edition, may omit amendments, may be misquoted or truncated, may be reproduced without the definitions, exemptions, limitations, or referenced documents that govern its meaning, and may not reflect the version adopted and in force in your State or Territory. Where Pascal generates NCC text, that text is produced by a language model and may be fabricated in whole or in part notwithstanding that reproduction is permitted.

You must therefore verify every NCC reference against the current published Code obtained directly from the ABCB at abcb.gov.au, confirm the edition and commencement date adopted in your jurisdiction together with any State or Territory variation, and have its interpretation and application confirmed by a Qualified Engineer. Redworx recommends this expressly and disclaims all liability for reliance on NCC Material surfaced by the Platform without such verification.

Pascal has not been trained, fine-tuned, retrained, grounded, or supplied at inference time with the Standards Content of any Australian Standard, AIRAH publication, or other licensed Standards Body document. No such licensed copyright material forms part of any Redworx training corpus, embedding index, retrieval database, vector store, system prompt, or runtime context supplied to Pascal.

Pascal's knowledge of Australian Standards and AIRAH guidance is limited to Citation Metadata. Pascal is therefore able to tell you that a topic is dealt with somewhere in a nominated standard, and to direct you to that standard by designation and clause number. Pascal is not able to tell you what that clause says, and any impression to the contrary is mistaken.

This clause does not apply to NCC Material, which Redworx may reference, supply to Pascal, or reproduce as described above. Pascal's treatment of NCC Material carries no greater reliability for that reason: it remains the probabilistic output of a language model, subject in full to the verification obligations in this Section.

Pascal is a general-purpose large language model. It may, notwithstanding the design of the Platform, generate text that appears to quote, paraphrase, summarise, restate, interpret, or apply the content of a standard, a clause, a table, a formula, or a code provision.

Where that text purports to be Standards Content, it is an artefact of general language-model behaviour. It is not drawn from the standard, is not verified against the standard, is not authorised or endorsed by the relevant Standards Body, and may be partly or entirely fabricated, obsolete, misattributed, drawn from a superseded edition, or applicable only to another jurisdiction. It must never be quoted, relied upon, transcribed into a Schedule, forwarded to a client or authority, or treated as evidence of what any standard requires. If you need to know what a clause says, you must read that clause in the current published document.

Standards and codes are amended, superseded, reissued, and withdrawn. Clause and table numbering changes between editions. The NCC is republished on a multi-year cycle, is adopted separately by each State and Territory with its own commencement dates, and is subject to jurisdictional variations and additions. AIRAH guidance is revised independently of Standards Australia.

Redworx gives no representation, warranty, or guarantee — express or implied — that any citation surfaced by the Platform or Pascal is correct, complete, current, in force, correctly numbered, correctly titled, drawn from the applicable edition, adopted in your jurisdiction, or relevant to your project, application, building classification, or scope of works. Citation Metadata may contain errors and may become out of date without notice. Redworx is under no obligation to monitor, update, or notify Users of changes to any standard or code.

By accepting this Agreement you acknowledge and accept that you bear sole and exclusive responsibility, at your own cost, for independently obtaining and verifying every standard, code, and guidance document relevant to your work. You must, before relying on any reference for any purpose:

• —Obtain the current published edition of the document from the publisher or an authorised source — Standards Australia and its authorised resellers for Australian Standards, the ABCB (abcb.gov.au) for the NCC, and AIRAH (airah.org.au) for AIRAH handbooks, DA series documents, and technical guidance;
• —Confirm the edition, amendment number, and date of the document you hold, and confirm that it is the edition adopted and in force in your State or Territory for your project at the relevant time;
• —Read the cited clause in full and in its proper context, including all definitions, scope limitations, exclusions, referenced documents, and jurisdictional variations that bear on its meaning;
• —Independently confirm that the clause cited is the correct and complete provision for your application, and that no further provision applies;
• —Hold a valid licence or purchased copy for any document you consult, and comply with the licence terms under which it was supplied to you;
• —Have a Qualified Engineer confirm the interpretation and application of every standard, clause, or code provision that bears on the design, selection, sizing, compliance, or certification of any system or equipment.

You must not treat the Platform, Pascal, or any Output as a means of avoiding, deferring, shortening, or substituting for this verification. Any User who issues, certifies, or relies upon technical information without completing it does so entirely at their own risk and on their own professional responsibility.

No Schedule, register, report, export, or other Output — and no Pascal Response — may be issued for construction, tender, procurement, manufacture, installation, certification, statutory approval, regulatory submission, or any other professional purpose unless it has first been reviewed, corrected where necessary, and approved by a Qualified Engineer who accepts professional responsibility for it.

Redworx does not perform, supervise, review, or certify engineering work, and is not a party to and accepts no responsibility for the professional judgement exercised by any Qualified Engineer or other professional engaged by you. The engagement of a Qualified Engineer is your responsibility and your cost.

The Platform performs no compliance checking of any kind. Nothing generated by the Platform or by Pascal constitutes, or may be represented by you as constituting: a certificate or statement of compliance with any Australian Standard, NCC provision, or regulatory requirement; a Deemed-to-Satisfy assessment; a Performance Solution or performance-based design brief under the NCC; an engineering design, calculation, or certification document; evidence of suitability under the NCC; or a professional opinion of any kind.

You must not represent to any client, principal, certifier, building surveyor, regulator, insurer, or other party that any Output has been verified, checked, certified, or endorsed by Redworx, by Pascal, or by any Standards Body.

Redworx respects the copyright of Standards Australia, the ABCB, AIRAH, and all other Standards Bodies, and requires the same of its Users. You must not:

• —Upload, paste, transmit, or otherwise submit Standards Content to the Platform or to Pascal in breach of the licence under which it was supplied to you;
• —Use Pascal or any Platform feature in an attempt to obtain, reconstruct, reproduce, or circumvent payment for Standards Content, including by prompting Pascal to recite, quote, or reproduce a clause of an Australian Standard or AIRAH publication;
• —Extract, scrape, or repackage Citation Metadata for the purpose of building or supplying a competing index or standards-reference product;
• —Represent Citation Metadata, or any Output containing it, as being a copy of, extract from, or authorised summary of any standard.

These restrictions concern Standards Content. They do not restrict the ordinary use of NCC Material, which the ABCB makes publicly available; you remain free to obtain, quote, and share the NCC on the terms the ABCB provides, and are encouraged to consult it directly.

Redworx may suspend or terminate the account of any User who breaches this clause, without notice and without refund, in accordance with Section 12. You indemnify Redworx in respect of any claim arising from Standards Content that you have submitted to the Platform.

If you are a Standards Body, a rights holder, or an authorised representative of either, and you believe that any material within the Platform reproduces protected Standards Content or otherwise infringes your rights, contact us immediately at legal@redworx.ai with details sufficient to identify the material. Redworx will investigate promptly and, where the concern is substantiated, remove or amend the material without requiring any admission of liability by either party.

By accepting this Agreement you expressly acknowledge and agree that: standards references within the Platform are navigational aids only; Redworx has given you no warranty of any kind as to their accuracy, currency, or applicability; the responsibility for obtaining, reading, interpreting, and correctly applying every standard, code, and guidance document rests solely with you and with the Qualified Engineer you engage; and you have not relied, and will not rely, on Redworx or on Pascal for any interpretation of any standard, code, or regulatory requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redworx excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost, claim, expense, penalty, rectification or rework cost, project delay, professional liability, loss of accreditation or licence, or consequential loss of any kind arising directly or indirectly from: any reference to or citation of any standard, code, or guidance document by the Platform or by Pascal; any error, omission, or obsolescence in Citation Metadata; any interpretation, quotation, or apparent restatement of Standards Content generated by Pascal; any failure by you to obtain, read, or correctly apply a standard; or any decision made or document issued without review by a Qualified Engineer.

You indemnify and hold harmless Redworx, its directors, employees, and contractors against all claims, demands, proceedings, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal costs) brought by any third party — including any client, principal, certifier, regulator, insurer, or Standards Body — arising from or in connection with your use of, or reliance on, any standards reference within the Platform, or your breach of this Section.

This Section is subject to Section 05 (Limitation of Liability), including the Australian Consumer Law clause in that Section. Nothing in this Section operates to exclude, restrict, or modify any guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law where to do so would contravene that law.

Outputs and Pascal Responses generated by the Platform must not be issued, submitted, or relied upon in any professional context without independent verification by the User and, where required, by a Qualified Engineer. This obligation applies regardless of how accurate, complete, or confident an Output or Pascal Response may appear. Redworx expressly disclaims any responsibility for Outputs and Pascal Responses that have been acted upon without independent verification prior to use.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Redworx, its directors, employees, contractors, and related entities shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or any Output. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of contracts, project delays, rework costs, regulatory penalties, or any professional liability arising from reliance on an Output.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, the total aggregate liability of Redworx to you for any and all claims arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall not exceed the total Subscription fees paid by you to Redworx in the three (3) calendar months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100.00, whichever is greater.

Redworx makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee — express or implied — that data extracted, processed, or generated by AI Processing will be accurate, complete, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. You accept that AI Processing may produce incorrect results and that the Platform is a workload-reduction tool, not a verified data source.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) where to do so would contravene that legislation or cause any part of this Agreement to be void. Where Australian Consumer Law applies and permits limitation of liability, Redworx limits its liability to re-supply of the service.

All intellectual property rights in the Platform — including software, AI models, algorithms, interface design, branding, documentation, and underlying technology — are and remain the exclusive property of RedworxAU Pty Ltd. Nothing in this Agreement transfers any intellectual property rights to you. Your use of the Platform is subject to a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for your own internal business purposes in accordance with this Agreement.

You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in the User Data you submit to the Platform. By submitting User Data, you grant Redworx a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, store, process, analyse, and derive insights from that data in accordance with Section 8 of this Agreement.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any Source Documents or data submitted to the Platform do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, confidentiality obligations, or licence restrictions. Redworx accepts no liability for intellectual property infringement arising from User-submitted content.

Notwithstanding the above, Redworx will not: (a) sell or transfer identifiable User Data to any third party for marketing purposes; (b) provide identifiable User Data to any company that competes directly with Redworx or that operates a competing HVAC scheduling or documentation tool; or (c) disclose confidential project-specific data to any third party in identifiable form except as required by law or as necessary to operate the Platform (e.g. cloud infrastructure providers under data processing agreements).

Redworx reserves the right to use anonymised and aggregated data derived from Platform usage — including schedule structures, equipment types, field frequency data, and interaction patterns — for any purpose without restriction, provided such data cannot reasonably identify you or any individual User.

We collect information you provide directly, including: name, email address, organisation name, billing information, and account credentials at registration; User Data, Source Documents, and Schedules submitted to the Platform; account preferences, settings, and usage behaviour; and communications you send to us. We also collect technical data automatically, including IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, session logs, and feature interaction data.

We use personal information to: provide, operate, and improve the Platform; authenticate your identity and manage your account; process billing and Subscription management; provide technical support; send service-related notifications and, where you have opted in, product updates; detect and prevent fraud, security incidents, or misuse; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We may disclose personal information to: cloud infrastructure and hosting providers (including Supabase) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements requiring equivalent privacy protections; payment processors for billing purposes; professional advisers including legal and accounting firms under confidentiality obligations; and government or regulatory authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We retain personal information and User Data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfil our legal, accounting, and operational obligations. Where you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymise personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to: request access to personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information; make a complaint about our handling of your personal information; and, in certain circumstances, request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the details in Section 15. We will respond within 30 days.

Some Platform infrastructure and third-party service providers may be located outside Australia, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state, authenticate users, and collect usage analytics. By using the Platform, you consent to our use of cookies as described in our Cookie Notice, which may be updated from time to time. You may disable cookies via your browser settings, but this may affect Platform functionality.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While Redworx applies industry-standard measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security of User Data. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected Users and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account. You must notify Redworx immediately at the contact in Section 15 if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account.

Redworx offers a free access tier with limited functionality. Free tier Outputs may include watermarks. Redworx reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.

Paid Subscriptions are billed per seat per month at the rate displayed at the time of purchase. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. GST will be applied where required under the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth). Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required under Australian Consumer Law.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your Subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features will continue until the end of the paid period.

Redworx may change Subscription pricing with at least 30 days' written notice to the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the Platform after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Prior to commencing any court proceedings (other than for urgent interlocutory relief), the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct negotiation for a period of not less than 30 days from the date one party notifies the other of the dispute in writing. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may pursue their legal remedies.

If you have a complaint regarding our handling of your personal information, you may contact us at the details in Section 15. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
